If you recall, Paul said HE DOES NOT SPEAK FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT, BUT FOR HIMSELF when he spoke about abstinence. He did not say the Holy Spirit was against procreation. Also, if sex was regrettable, then God would not have told us to go multiply, and fill the earth when He made mankind in the early chapters of Genisis.
