    elvis knew almost every gospel lyric you can imagine.Someone said he knew over 3000 songs with having never no written words.He just sang them each single night for hours instead of going to churches for not disturbing the folk.He couldn´t go without being recogniszed, so he decided to sing “GOD´s MUSIC” in his Hotel Suits within the “Background Imperials”

    A beautiful song no matter what faith you belong to. Song by a man with a beautiful voice and spirit. I sing this song “in my head” at work because where I work it’s very “trying”. I especially like the line: “I’m tired and weak and need your strength and Power.” But I like the way Elvis says “power”. Powrrr…

    Don’t be fooled by the emotions. Elvis did not JUST accept his version of Christianity, but he embraced all forms of religion, which is forbidden.

    John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

  • larrypetree says:

    That is sick man. Elvis had nothing to do with you faith. It was Christ who came to save you and seek after you and save you. Not Elvis. Give me a break with this stupid idolatry of a man who was NOT right with God.

    Ok, you think he was saved? The night he died he was sleeping with a woman not his wife and he had several religious books in the john with him.

    It is fine to admire talent, but for pete’s sake stop the nonesense.

  • larrypetree says:

    How stupid

  • Pacer8 says:

    My friend I understand where your coming from and for the most part I agree with you however you are to quick to pass Judgement on Elvis and his fans right or wrong. Elvis would stop his
    concerts when fans would refer to him as the King and he would state that the only King was Jesus Christ !

    @larrypetree
    “Some people think of me as god,i’m not god as there is only one god.”…Elvis Presley.Elvis read about other religions but didn’t embrace them.
