Actually, John Piper clearly calls himself a calvinist. I have nothing wrong with that, and I have nothing wrong with this message, and I love John Piper, but you might want to watch “Why are Calvinists so Negative? (John Piper).”

people always get this backwards, they say “oh, piper says this, but he is a calvinist, so he’s contradicting himself.”

In reality it is the other way around. THIS is what John Piper believes (believe me, i go to his church)! Calvinist is a tag that people have put on John Piper when in fact, Piper wont refer to himself as a calvinist. People should look at his message rather than the tag!

It ROBS Christ of the time He spent on that cross & tries to replace Him in the hearts of people with their own carnal desires & vain ambitions. It is WICKED. And it is EVIL because it is “GUISED as light.”

And I pray for the “teachers” of this dogma, before they face God. In order for people to effectively deceive others – they must BE DECEIVED themselves.
