yow the run at 2:07 was sick!! sick!! mad!!

  • jb4ever78 says:

WHy do musicians crowd around other musicians in church? I hate to say it but when a prayer could be offered up, we’re too busy listening to fills or that sick run…… We’ll do better Lord! WE WILL!! :)

i’d rather all these young men crowding around these two fine musicians in church then have them crowding around somewhere else (on the corner, at the pool hall, at the bar). Jesus didn’t care about the REASONS why people came to him and crowded him, he just came to serve those that showed up. Mr. Reed is doing just fine. He is being a fine example of humble talent and joyfully expressed skill. Perhaps some of that might rub off on these young men.

Musical talent and musical appreciation is yet another way that God manifests His love for his children. Those who choose to magnify His gifts should be blessed with the recognition that they have made the most of what He has given them, and those who do not appreciate the time and effort that it takes to realize the potential that the Lord has bestowed should at least have the grace to withhold a negative comment where one is ill-placed. This brother is an inspiration to those who can see.

  • SlikkTim says:

I second that emotion. You’d think it would stop in a big flashy way but it’s seamlessly integrated in the groove. ill.

  • SlikkTim says:

Yeah he can impress seasoned bass players as well people who know nothing about the music, cause he ALWAYS sounds good, and never disrupts the groove. That’s were the true class is.

  • AllenElton1 says:

keep the groove doc! Love the sound

As I tried to tell a close friend of mine, the funkiest musicians are in the church. This is living proof.
