paul affirms that God is Love. but love is not always nice. ever read CS Lewis. God is not safe, He’s not nice. He’s a Lion!. but He’s Good, i tell you. My Jesus Loves me so much that He will convey His disaproval of me. read Revelation 1-3.

To ciphro, about Paul Washer saying he’s not a prophet:

    Yea, isn’t that best?!

John the Baptist – the prophet of all prophets – would only describe himself as, “…a voice of one crying out in the desert.” He wouldn’t even admit to being a person, just a voice for God’s purpose.

Praise God! Finally – real prophets for the 21st century who don’t beg for money or promise “faith healings.”

I just started listening to Paul and I like the truth that I’m hearing here; verses the crap, theoretical, mythical, falasie spewing, lie teachings that most churches puke out these days.

I usually feel angry, bitter, mad and upset when I hear a modern day watered down preacher speak. But when I heard this man speak I listened earnestly with contentment.

My itching ears “itch for truth”; not for weak, watered down complimentary style preaching. The bitter truth is better than a sweet lie!

If this doctrine is true, explain this

    Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles

  • aremirfearanna says:

If you will even read ONE book which talks about Jesus on earth, you will find that he performed many miracles of HEALING and PROSPERING, even to those unworthy, like the adulterous woman. How much more us! Whom he died for, and got lashed and scourged for, can we expect from God. Remember, God is almighty! All powerful. Do not think for one second, that your needs are greater than his means to provide. Do not place yourself above God.

  • wordoffaithchannel says:

aremirfearanna, here is some Bible 101: Death and sickness are consequences of the fall of Adam. “Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned [In Adam]” (Rom. 5:12). If Christians have been forgiven and had their sinned removed by Jesus then why is it that we all still die?

  • wordoffaithchannel says:

Jesus said “Whoever believes in me, THOUGH HE DIE, yet shall he live” (John 11:25b). Our ultimate salvation (the receiving of a glorified bodies and welling with Christ forever) and our ultimate healing (not dying) will come when He comes for his bride. Until then we are witnesses to the world that we love God, as a faithful bride, “in sickness and in health.” God, for his own pruposes may or may not provide healing in this age, but he will fulfill his promise.

  • wordoffaithchannel says:

If one keeps arguing that we are to be in “perfect health” NOW then why do we die? We die because our bodies have been subjected to the curse of Genesis. We grow old and sick and our bodies eventually give up.

  • mysnisouttahanda says:

the disease of sin….your looking at it from a physical point of view and from the scope from which i can tell you see Jesus then He must also be evil because He allowed the devil to pretty much torture Job and put him through a whole lot of tribulation. however He is not evil and you need to stop looking at it from this prosperous corrupted point of view and read the new testament and see for yourself the hell that the apostles had to go through for the sake of His name.NOT Prosperity!

  • Revinius says:

Since when has anyone glorified God for you driving a bmw?

  • timeisathand says:

We will all die in the flesh.

The soul that sins will die.

Jesus Christ cleanses you from all unrighteousness so your soul will not die.
Without his blood your are dead in your sins.
If you die in your sins your soul will die.

  • timeisathand says:

Through Adam all were made dead.
Through Christ we are all made alive.

  • thewordthatpierces says:

Yes, we know we are made alive in Christ, what was the point of that comment?

  • thewordthatpierces says:

Jesus came so that we would have life, not prosperity. Don’t een tell me that “faith” heals you!!! Faith is believing in Jesus alone as the only way to salvation. There God can and does heal, but he didn’t die to give us perfect health. The fleshly body is just that flesh, and God will allow us to suffer because that is a part of life on earth, suffering produces righteousness. I am very sick and have been most of my life, and God is healing me, he is healing what is most important

Q: HOW did this thief get saved!

A: John 2:23-24 He could see that It was just and Intellectual Ascent. Paul said I declare unto you the Gospel Jesus Knows All Men

Jesus knows ascension of the mind or the heart.

The thief believed in his heart
Jesus knows the hearts of men.

Like the thief; salvation is yours for the asking
    Believe

  • Vanmeter815 says:

    @mcguck

Interesting. Why don’t I hear Muslims ever talk about any of Jesus’ teachings?

  • mcguck says:

They consider him a prophet not the son of God.

  • Vanmeter815 says:

I know. At the time when I wrote that I thought you were a Muslim.
